Last Tuesday (April 6, 2021), President Rodrigo Duterte Together with Senator Bong Go Quickly saw and responded to the request of the Baguio based Group Ayoweng Di Gangsa Cultural Artist Federation after they requested for a budget to get more ethnic equipments.
“Tatay Digong luma na po ang aming cultural attires at instrumento. Kailangan na rin pong madagdagan at mapalitan dahil rumarami na rin po ang ating cultural ___ performers…”
– Ayoweng Di Gangsa Cultural Artist Federation
The Baguio based group asked for more cultural attire and instruments for the tribes of Abra, Apayao, Benguet, Ifugao and Kalinga because the ones they have were already old and scarce, not to mention their group has been gaining more members as of late. They needed an amount of P680,000 for these.
The president did not disappoint. The request video was made at 5:00 pm, sent to Senator Bong by 7:00 pm, and was immediately seen and approved by our President Rodrigo Duterte and Senator Bong Go at 8:30 pm.
“…Okay ako. Approve ako.”
